SAFETY
Safety is a core value with Energywise Group. “SAFETY FIRST”
Energywise Group believes safety is more than a list of rules to follow. It is a core value and an important part of the Energywise group culture. We believe that there is nothing more important than the health and safety of our employees, contractors, customers and the public.
We work together with the focus on safety, we have a goal of “Zero Injury” that we know we can achieve and maintain while providing a variety of services to our Automation, Solar and Electrical customers.

The Energywise Group introduces all employees and contractors to the Group safety meetings and expects them to regularly conduct these protocols in their workplaces. The “ “Safety Core Value Statement” is applied to employees, contractors, and visitors in all work locations.

Our employees and contractors regularly conduct training, emergency drills and exercises to reinforce, verify and improve our emergency preparedness and awareness capabilities. Practice prepares us for unplanned situations and increase effectiveness across all business units. We seek to learn and share lessons learned from drills, exercises and real events across our business units to continuously improve preparedness and response abilities.

Energywise Group’s Engagement is that all employees and contractors are responsible for and committed to safety, including following our “Safety Core Value”. To drive and promote the expected safety behaviors we hold regular safety meetings to exchange information and concerns and increase safety awareness. We engage in toolbox talks at worksites focusing on specific hazards, and if a situation or incident merits, we pause or stop scheduled work for safety stand-down sessions and reassess situations reflecting our performance and reinforce our commitment to safety.

Safety initiatives: Intended to inform, increase awareness, and provide data and recommendations to prevent incidents or losses. Initiatives include efforts to address common mechanisms of recordable injury incidents, like slips, trips and falls and being in the line of fire.

Energywise Group’s Emergency Response Plans include procedures, required notifications and response actions that are carried out as efficiently and safely as possible. Emergency Response Plans contain the most relevant information to manage an incident, including working with emergency service organizations during the initial stages of an incident.
Safety is fundamental to everything we do, and we believe that all accidents, injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable, and a workplace with zero incidents is possible.
